Europeans have rushed to grab a virtual home in cyberspace, says the BBC. Hundreds of thousands of people have signed up for new .eu domain name since it became available to the public on Friday, according to the BBC News report. Writing a blog post is not really that different to writing any other type of copy, especially when it comes to the headline of a post. As with any text, the headline is the grabber, the text that usually first attracts someone to the content itself. To me, this is especially relevant with RSS feeds. Over half of the business executives in The Netherlands and Germany find blogging a mystery; and, although French executives are 'au fait,' few of them are bloggers. These are among the findings from the latest UPS Europe Business Monitor survey of 1,500 business leaders from Europe's top 15,000 companies by revenue, carried out by UPS between September and November 2005.
