Last week, I wrote about Plaxo. You know, the impersonal emails you get from people asking you to update your contact info. I really don't think much of the service at all. I consider it to be equal to spam. But what I think about Plaxo the company just went up a significant number of notches. The new version 2 of the FeedDemon RSS reader for Windows was released yesterday. New ecto for Windows looks good
The first post with the second beta of the forthcoming ecto for Windows version 2 offline blog editor. Yes, it's a beta and so you expect to encounter bugs and other quirks. On first run, though, I'm impressed especially with the changes I see in the post editor. Now, there is true WYSIWYG editing instead of the semi-code view of past versions. AjaxWrite wants to take on Microsoft Word
What if there were an alternative for Microsoft Word that would install and open in 6 seconds, read and write Microsoft Word .doc files and run on Macintosh, Microsoft Windows or Linux computers? asks Michael Robertson.
