It’s time to unveil crayon

October 22, 2006 by Neville Hobson

The teasing is done and it's time to get specific about the new company I'm now part of alongside founder Joseph Jaffe, veteran communicator Shel Holtz and podcasting pioneer CC Chapman. The new company is called crayon and will be fully open for business this coming Thursday October 26 when we launch from Crayonville Island, our headquarters in Second Life that's been under construction during the past few months. So the first thing to tell you is that crayon is a both a real and a … [Read more...] about It’s time to unveil crayon

Reuters gets with-it in Second Life

October 16, 2006 by Neville Hobson

If you're in PR and you're still not paying attention to Second Life, here's another reason why you should: News agency Reuters has just opened a bureau in Second Life. MOO's ordering system is very easy and works a charm. Go to their site, let the site log you in to your Flickr account (works via the Flickr API), choose from your own photos (note they must already be tagged with a … [Read more...] about Business cards to make you ooh and aah

Blogging from space

September 18, 2006 by Neville Hobson

This is definitely a first: A wealthy Iranian-born American woman ventures into space on Monday bearing the flags of both countries on her space suit. Anousheh Ansari, a telecommunications tycoon from Texas, will become the fourth person - and the first woman - to pay an estimated $20m to travel into space. [...] Ms Ansari says she will write the first blog from space. She says that her ultimate goal is to bring her experience and "the ability to fly to space to more and more people and to … [Read more...] about Blogging from space
