Just a week to go until the start of Social Media Week London on September 24 – and the 5th Dell B2B Social Media Huddle.
Planning is almost complete; we’re starting to talk about who our keynote speakers are – Andrew Grill and Antony Mayfield are but two – we know about some of the unconference workshops; there’s a special photo opportunity for all participants; and we’re counting the glasses for the post-event tweetup.
As with previous huddles, we’re expecting a full house at Microsoft’s London SW1 office next Monday. In fact, all 100 tickets have sold out (in a manner of speaking: participation is free of charge) and there’s now a waiting list.
I do hope you can be with us on September 24. If not, well, we’re planning to video-record the keynote presentations via our friends at Present.me – more news on that very soon on the Huddle website – as well as publish the audio as podcasts. We may also live-stream those keynotes; news on that soon.

About the B2B Huddle:
The Dell B2B Social Media Huddle is an informal one-day event that brings together senior communicators and marketing professionals to exchange and share their experiences in social media in B2B.
Kerry Bridge and I have been organizing Huddles since 2009 which have been sponsored by Dell with this 5th one additionally supported by Microsoft. Keynote presentations are recorded and published as audio podcasts by For Immediate Release, the podcast series I co-host.
Huddlers choose whether to just come and listen to what others have to say, or stand up and share their own thinking during one of the open unconference sessions. The day concludes with further networking opportunities at the informal tweetup.
The expected outcome for you is new or renewed connections and actionable insights that you can apply in your business.
