The B2B Huddle on the social web

Since mentioning it last month, plans for the 5th Dell B2B Social Media Huddle are proceeding apace.

Keynote speakers are being lined up, unconference workshop sessions are being discussed, tweetup plans are all proceeding, and we’ll be naming names soon! Also coming very soon – a link to where you can register to participate.

One thing we’ve now done is establish a Huddle presence on the web at That’s where everything to do with this Huddle, as well as previous ones, will be posted and announced. So add that address to your bookmarks.

We’ve also now got our own Twitter handle – @b2bhuddle. Do follow us for news and commentary as we’ll be using this Twitter handle as a primary announcement channel.

The 5th Dell B2B Social Media Huddle takes place at Microsoft’s office in London SW1 on Monday, September 24, 2012, and is an integral part of Social Media Week London.

It’s an informal one-day event that brings together senior communicators and marketing professionals to exchange and share experiences on “(social) business to business.” It’s characterized by its pragmatic approach to enabling everyone to choose whether to just come and listen to what others have to say, or stand up and talk themselves during one of the open unconference sessions. The day concludes with the social engagement of an informal tweetup.

This Huddle is organized by Kerry Bridge and I, in conjunction with Simon Hughes at Microsoft.

Hope to see you in London on September 24!
