A social conversation in Dublin

dublingpoflag I’ll be in Dublin later this week, leading “New media for seasoned professionals,” a workshop for the Public Relations Institute of Ireland on social media and PR, on Thursday. This will be the third one I’ve done for the PRII during the past few years.

It’s always a great pleasure visiting Ireland. Over the years, I’ve made some good friends there and I’m looking forward to seeing some of them on this trip.

With that in mind, I’ll be taking part in “A social conversation,” an informal event on Friday morning, the idea for which was kick-started and set up by Bernie Goldbach.

I’m calling it a social conversation as I see it it as a means to engage in some discussion in a social environment, even if a prime focus will be on business. It takes place at Boston College on St Stephen’s Green in Dublin, starting at 10:15am.

If you’d like to come and join us for a few hours of listening, talking and learning, just indicate your wish on the information page at Plancast. While you’re there, why not add a question or topic you’d like to discuss or see discussed on Friday.

Or just turn up on the day!

Either way, you’ll be most welcome.
