In the US, anybody can sue anybody for anything. Whether you’re right or wrong, being sued could cost tens of thousands of dollars just to defend yourself, to say nothing of a judgment against you. It’s an issue that is bound to hit bloggers and podcasters sooner or later, which is why Karl Susman – a blogger and a podcaster himself – found underwriters to provide liability insurance for bloggers and podcasters, which he now offers through his Los Angeles-based insurance agency.
Karl and Shel Holtz spoke about the liability insurance as well as equipment coverage and what it can mean for bloggers and podcasters.
