Remembrance Day 9/11

twintowers_380x267

2,973 people died on September 11, 2001 in the twin towers collapse and elsewhere in terrorist outrages in the US on that dark day.

2,973 people. The majority Americans but also those from over 40 different countries.

Five years on. Never forget.

Thanks for writing about today. Sometimes I worry that people have forgotten. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who remembers.
It seemed that everyone was so patriotic right after Sept. 11, but as time went on, people put away their American flags and people stopped standing during the Pledge of Alliegence.
Thanks for reassuring me that my faith in people is not for nothing and people still remember.
