Podcastday in Cologne

Heading off to Cologne soon via the ICE train for Podcastday 2006, the first international conference in Germany about podcasting that takes place tomorrow.

I’m on a panel discussing the topic of “corporate communication: new ways with podcasts and blogs.” My fellow panelists are Sven Dörrenbächer from DaimlerChrysler, Philippe Borremans from IBM, and Julian Regenthal-Patzak from Audioetage. The moderator is Prof. Thomas Pleil from FH Darmstadt.

The one-day event (full programme here) is a tremendous concentration of podcasting talent and knowledge and forms part of a larger event, the four-day medienforum.nrw, one of the most prominent European media conventions.

As our part of the event includes a gathering of podcasters – such as CC Chapman, Nicole Simon, Ewan Spence and Gabe McIntyre – I’m sure there will be some interesting audio (and video) emerging.

Stay tuned!
