Google Page Creator: Where’s the problem?

After setting up my first Google webpage the other day, I’ve been playing around with the new Google Page Creator. My cat had a suggestion for a new page…

A lot of commentary out there knocking Google for this tool. It doesn’t work properly, they say. Why isn’t it integrated with Blogger, they ask. What on earth is Google doing with such trash, they wonder.

There’s no pleasing some people. Ok, the service is groaning under the strain of popularity at the moment. New sign-ups were suspended yesterday. This is probably just temporary as they get a few things sorted out.

For the record, I think Google Page Creator is pretty good. Dead simple and dead easy to use. As another means of enabling more people to easily get online with some kind of presence, and it’s free, where’s the problem?
