The workaround is just fine

Thanks to Bruno Amaral, the exasperating problem with getting Thesis to display the time of a post in the byline has been solved.

The proof of the pudding for me: I’ve made the changes to Thesis 1.4.2 running on my primary blog as you can see:

While the solution is to hand, doing what is in effect a workaround to enable something that, in my view, is pretty fundamental makes very little sense to me. It ought to be far simpler to do this.

Still, I’ve yet to encounter another WordPress blog running the Thesis theme where the publishing time is also showing as well as the publishing date, so maybe it’s only me who wants to be able to do this.

In which case, this little workaround is just fine.
