Events
I invest a lot of time in speaking and participating at conferences and other events in Europe and North America. Not only do they enable me to present and discuss how social media can provide tangible business benefits as an integral element of organizational communication, they also provide me with great opportunities to learn from the people I meet what’s actually happening in organizations today.
In the interests of transparency, let me say that for public events at which I speak or present, I receive compensation from the event organizers in the form of a speaking fee and my travel and related expenses are paid for. Such compensation has no influence or effect on what I may speak about. At some events, I may agree to speak on a pro bono basis. See my policy on fee or pro bono for more information.
(I also speak and lead training and educational workshops privately for organizations. If you’d like to discuss a need you have where I might be able to help, do get in touch.)
