The second annual WordCamp UK takes place in Cardiff over the weekend of July 18-19, 2009.
It looks a terrific event, great speakers and attendees. As it largely follows an unconference format, there’s no fixed agenda but a running order and plenty of content suggestions.
I was at the first WordCamp UK last year in Birmingham, and it was just great. This year looks to built on that success, and also has a very special guest participating – Matt Mullenweg, the co-founder of WordPress.
I’d love to be at WordCamp UK 2009 but the diary doesn’t look good for that weekend, more’s the pity. At least I can follow things on the blog and, of course, Twitter as well as the #wordcampuk hashtag (just like last year).
Tickets cost a highly reasonable £25 until June 1, then they’re £35. Book online. And here’s venue and hotel information.

Neville – Hope you can resolve your diary issues and make it to this year’s WordCamp UK.
Thanks, Tony, I appreciate that. I hope I can, too, at least for one of the days!
