Tomorrow I’ll be in Manchester participating in Marketing 2.0, a half-day seminar from KMP Interactive Marketing and Technology.

We will be discussing how the web is dramatically influencing the way in which people communicate and interact with brands and companies.

My contribution to the overall theme is about public relations and the impact of social media. I’ll be talking about the good, the bad and the ugly as I see those things, with examples of each.

I’m looking forward to this event as it will also give me an opportunity to get a sense of what’s going on in the northwest of England with regard to social media - what companies think about social media and who’s doing what.

Marketing 2.0 will also take place in London on July 15. Hope to see you there if you can’t be in Manchester tomorrow.
