Two names that are well known in the global online PR community are Mike Manuel and Josh Hallett.

Based in the US, both are with Voce Communications, a West-coast PR firm.

Mike and Josh will be in London next week and we’re planning a social get-together in London on Saturday April 12.

The venue’s not yet fully confirmed but it will most likely be in Soho, so a pretty central location that’s easy to get to and from. (I’ll update this post with the details once it’s confirmed.)

The get-together will be a great opportunity to meet up with two PR guys from the US who are among the earliest adopters of social media for business.

If you’re interested in meeting up for an informal evening of some drinks, some food and some great conversation, starting at about 6.30pm, please leave a comment in this post, just to get an idea of numbers, or drop me a note.

[Update Apr 7] The place where we’ll meet will be the Coach & Horses pub in Soho (it’s the venue where the Social Media Cafe meets each Friday morning), on the corner of Greek Street and Romilly Street, just off Shaftesbury Avenue.

Here’s a map.

The plan is to meet in the bar from 6.30pm. I’m told the pub’s pretty full this coming Saturday so we’re likely to look elsewhere for eats. But at least a beer or two there.

Hope you can join us!

I had dinner with Josh in New York so it would be great to do the same over on this side of the pond. I’m also a avid reader of Mike Manuel’s blog (he doesn’t post often but when he does he always talks complete sense) so will do my best to attend.

Unfortunately being up here in the sticks it makes it harder. I’ll try my best though.

Thanks, Neville.

Great, Mark!

I think we could have a great evening: had quite a few ‘yes’ by email and Twitter DM.

Hope you can join us, Stephen!

Would very much like to come along – really enjoy Mike’s blog also. Unfortunately have a small matter of a 26.2 mile run at 9.00am the next morning so I will have to see.

If I don’t get there, Neville I hope you’ll give us a run down of what you discussed here?

I’m a definite maybe! Just back in UK the night before and a big archery tournament the next day. Let’s see how the stamina holds up. Thanks.
