Following the launch of the new Plaxo last week, I have been thinking that maybe enough time has passed from the bad days of Plaxo that perhaps it’s time to try it again.

Shel and I even talked about it in last Thursday’s FIR #253.

Then I got four requests by email from friends asking me to update my contact info with Plaxo.

Each email still has that irritating text re if I don’t wish to receive update request emails from [Name] any longer, I can ‘click here’ to opt-out.

I never opted in!

This is so annoying. And ironically, my email spam filter trapped each of those email requests as spam.

Enough said.
