How is the PR industry adapting now that social media is heading for mainstream adoption?

That’s a good introductory description to an event I’m speaking at in central London in the evening of Tuesday April 24.

The event is ‘PR Unspun‘ organized by Chinwag Live, a new series of events from the Chinwag community established to cast an enquiring light on trends in the digital media industry.

I’ll be one of a group debating that broad PR topic. My fellow speakers are Jacqui White, Online Communications Director, Edelman UK; Stephanie Bonnet, Director, Burson-Marsteller London; and Mark Rogers, CEO, Market Sentinel. Our chair is Mike Butcher of mbites.

The event costs £40 but if you book before close of business tomorrow, the 19th, you pay only £20. So half price entry if you act fast.

I think it will be a terrific event so hope to see you there. As the organizers say, great speakers, engaging conversation plus drinks and snacks. And no PowerPoints!
