It was great to see you again, CC, and to meet Laura. It was indeed a great day!

Dean, good to meet you, too, and thanks for that correction.

It certainly was an amazing day all around and the podcasting community in the UK really energized me. I consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to attend and plus it was great for my wife to meet her first crayon.

Hello Neville, Great to meet you on the day...

FYI John Buckman took his image (illustrated) from the UK Podcasters Association http://ukpodcasters.org.uk campaign to raise awareness of the role podcasters are now playing in music promotion.

It was great, Mike, wasn't it? Those three bands were tremendous. Hope to see and hear more of them.

Doug, very glad to know you know of the Small Faces. I loved that band. Itchycoo Park!

Sounds like a great event-- I am particularly interested in the Nokia podcasting applications (for reasons related to my PR Work with Podcast Ready, to be completely transparent).

But my main reason for commenting-- any mention of Marriott and the Small Faces can not go unrewarded. I just want you to know that reference is not obscure to all of us out there (even if that were the case, Whatcha Gonna Do About It?). I shall have to check out the Shakes.

Cheers

Hey Neville, great review of the day.

I really enjoyed myself on Saturday - it was particularly enjoyable meeting and working with the bands, who all gave fantastic performances. Daren and I felt quite privileged to be doing the live sound for them and it was great to be able to record their sets. Hopefully some of those recordings will be up on the Podsafe Music Network in the not too distant future...

All in all, an excellent day.

Cheers
