If you use the Skype internet phone service and you’re in the UK, take advantage of this cool promotion Skype announced yesterday where you can make free SkypeOut calls to UK landline numbers for six months:
[...] During the six months of free calling, you can call any UK landline number that starts with 01 or 02 — this includes the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man. [...] You can claim your free calls until 31st December 2006. This means that if you are a UK user and you buy Skype Credit before 31st December, you can make free calls to UK landlines for six months starting from the activation date of your free calls.
To take advantage of the offer, you have to purchase £10 of SkypeOut credit. Skype users in France have been enjoying a similar benefit since last month.
