RSS management company FeedBurner announced today that it has acquired BlogBeat, a blog analytics company:

[...] The combined services will give FeedBurner’s 200,000 customers powerful tools for comprehensive comparison of feed subscribers and blog visitors, insight previously not available from a single platform.

Looks like a very good deal for FeedBurner customers (of which I am one). Detailed info in the acquisition FAQ.

It also scotches a baseless rumour last Friday that FeedBurner had acquired Nooked. Not so, said CEO Fergus Burns:

Just to let everyone know Nooked has not been acquired.

It does look an interesting deal, Scott. According to the FAQ, don’t expect to see much before sometime in Q4, though.
