This will likely be the last post for the rest of this week. I’m taking time out and going unplugged. No blogging, little RSS reading, maybe a bit of moblogging, but not much else.
Not even Second Life!
I’ll be checking in from time to time to see how conversations are going. Have a good break!
A coworker was just telling me about his week away in Door County, WI, USA–no cellphone, no radio, no television. Very peaceful, he said. Reading, conversations with townsfolk at the fish boils, watching the sunrise.
He walked through the local cemetery, and noticed how so many people were long-lived. Maybe partly due to the lower stress levels, he concluded.
About half-way home, he realized that he could listen to the radio. Heard the news report about North Korea’s missile launches. Welcome back stress!
“I thought that I should be more in touch with what’s happening in the world” while in Door County, my coworker said. I think that more of us should unplug on occasion and let the world spin without us fretting about it.

I saw that post on Marketing Profs re post frequency. Just read yours. I agree with you – it’s about content not frequency. It’s also about linking, the connections that ‘good content’ stimulate.
