[...] Poked around Second Life for a couple of hours over the weekend. I’m still trying to find my way around, but I did managed to locate the FIR Store on Podcast Island. Some very cool things are happening in Second Life, and business opportunities abound. I certainly plan to spend more time there in the weeks to come. My Second Life Name? Zeke Barber.
Rob, here's the way I suggest you use to get to the FIR store:

1. Make sure that the Second Life app is not running on your computer.
2. Go to http://slurl.com/secondlife/Podcast Island/139/75/25/
3. When you click on that link you'll get a web page with a further link. Click on that which launches Second Life on your computer.
4. In the Second Life app, click the 'connect' button to log on to the SL server.
5. Doing that will then teleport you to the telepoint location on Podcast Island close to the Podcasters Mall.
6. Follow the red arrow to get to the FIR store.

Let me know if you still can't get there!

Any idea of why when I try and visit you that I can't get in? There seems to be some sort of restriction on me entering!

[...] I’d mentioned in Monday’s show that I would be hanging out at the FIR store at 4pm GMT yesterday. So I did and bumped into Karine Apogee who, in the real world, is in Ottawa, Canada. We had quite a chat, talking about how Shel and I do the show each time, ie, how much time does it all take. We chatted, too, about how to do certain things in Second Life. Two newbies chatting! [...]

[...] That’s what I did when I first signed up last February. I’m still basically in explore mode although I’ve made my first foray into establishing a physical, er, virtual, presence in Second Life. [...]
